Don’t you agree that the best gifts are the ones your children give you? Today I am wrapped in the warmth of a fuzzy, pink sweatshirt I received from my son who is away for his first year of college. The fact that he remembered my birthday early enough to shop and ship in time for my gift to arrive the day before my birthday warms my heart too. It’s like being hugged by my son all day! Happy Birthday to me!

Happy birthday. I know I am late, but my mom would never expect me to be on time, so one of these days I am going to do like your son and really surprise her. I prefer to think of my perpetual lateness as just “setting her up.”

Hi Laura,
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving me such a nice comment. I always enjoy meeting new readers!
I think it’s wonderful that your sons are continuing with baseball in college. Do they attend the same school or different ones? I have two in college and it makes life very interesting.
Glad to meet another Angels fan! I totally agree with you about the LA thing. To me, they will always be the Anaheim Angels.
If you enjoy keeping a blog, I think it’s a great way to record things that might ordinarily just pass you by. You should keep it up! I really enjoyed what I have read here, so far. I will be back again.
Happy belated birthday! The sweatshirt your son sent you is adorable. Good choice!
Hugs,
Debbie
